Yes, we offer a FREE trial session to all new children.
Is there a membership fee?
Yes, there is an annual membership fee for all children attending term time sessions. This is €350 per child and includes our branded Kelme training and Match kits.
How much does a term cost for Team Basketball?
€175 per term
Do you offer any discounts?
We don't offer a discount for Team fees.
What are payment options
Payment deposit of €50 is required with registration form before the First Term commences.
A notification will be sent in September advising date of registration. The remaining fees can be paid in 3 instalments over the course of the 24 week season.
Can I do pay as you go on weekends?
However, if there are special circumstances around payment then we will try to accommodate another payment plan.

Can I pay by cash?
We do not recommend this. The preference is Bank Transfer.
However, if this is your only method of payment then this can be arranged by contacting us.
Can I just turn up on the day without booking?
We guarantee a response within 24hrs.
My child has never played sport before, can they still attend?
If your child has played a team sport before and feels comfortable and confident then they will normally catch on pretty quickly. However, if not, we would recommend that your child attends our Academy for a few weeks. This will introduce them to the general rules and basic skills of Basketball in a fun, simple and low pressure environment.
Can my child join once the term has started?
If your child’s age group has spaces available your child can still join. Our prices are pro rata so the price will be reduced based on how many sessions are remaining.
What does my child need to bring to training?
All players should bring a small sports bag, small towel, a water bottle and basketball shoes. Note* Knights basketball encourages parents NOT to pay for expensive brand shoes.
Does my child need to wear certain clothes for your sessions?
What if my child is ill or cannot attend a session?
Knights Basketball communicate via Whatsapp group for each Team managed by the Team Manager. The Team Manager will issue a standard "Reminder" text to the group each day of practice. A simple 👍 / 👎 response is requested from each parent advising attendance/non-attendance.
Is there a Knights Basketball Academy?
Knights Basketball Academy takes place every Sunday morning. Please refer to Knights Academy Webpage for further details.
Is there Knights Social Basketball?
Knights Mens Social Basketball runs every Monday evening from 20:00 to 21:30 in Colaiste de hide Tymon North.
Knights Women Social Basketball runs every Wednesday evening from 20:00 to 21:30 in the National Basketball Stadium.

Can anyone attend Social Basketball?
Yes, no experience in basketball required. You must be over 16 years old.
What do I need to bring with me to Social Basketball?
Is there parking for all Knights Programmes
All locations whether it is social basketball, home games or academy have substantial parking available. All parking in locations are free.
Is there a membership fee for Social Basketball?
No membership fee. The cost for Knights Social Basketball is €5.00 per session payable by Revolut.
